The team of Mary Diaz and her husband, David, an ex-banker, provide professional realty services to the Tampa Bay area. While David takes care of the Internet marketing, client relations, etc, Mary enjoys finding and showing prospective clients. Mary and David enjoy traveling the state to visit her native Miami. They are big football fans and auto racing enthusiasts as well as fishing fanatics when able to get away to their favorite spot, the Florida Keys.
Mary’s unique background has benefited her clients more than they could ever realize. Before getting her license in 1994, she had worked in the banking world, as a lender, branch manager, and ultimately becoming a Vice President in the risk management division.
Being a Realtor is a natural fit because of her banking experience and her excellent memory for people, places, numbers etc. Her penchant for doing the right thing complements her analytical side for detail in dealing with Real Estate. Her long list of designations exemplifies her dedication to being the best.
“Although the job can be stressful in today’s market, I always enjoy the interaction with people.” Her vision of superior service is to keep her clients educated and involved so they can make informed decisions. Mary shuns pushiness, preferring to guide her clients through the process of buying or selling, by showing them how the real estate process works. Her knowledge of financial products, bank lending and regulations provides them with insight that few Realtors can offer.
It is important to Mary to gain her client’s trust while developing a business relationship. She strives to do her best for them by matching their wants and needs to what is available in the marketplace. The greatest reward is to watch their eyes light when she shows them homes that fit perfectly what they have been searching. Her persistent nature coupled with her hard work ethic has earned her recognition as a member of the 100% Club the ReMax International Hall of Fame.
After a banking career underwriting commercial real estate, business and home loans, David left banking to join his wife Mary in the already established "family" real estate endeavor. Together, they have seen it all and learned that in the end, all that matters is helping clients achieve their real estate dreams and desires in the most efficient, ethical and professional way possible while building a high level of trust necessary for success.
This is a partnership lasting better than ten years, and it continues to grow. Adaptability and a willingness to change are keys to success in real estate. It is a business that changes almost daily, and requires perseverance and a driving passion to stay abreast of market and technological changes while staying true to what it really is all about: personal relationships.
David enjoys a well-rounded educational background with two University degrees, including a BBA in Business and Finance as well as a degree in Colonial American History, something he is very proud of.
Since the internet has become such an integral part of the real estate transaction, this is David's main focus, especially in the marketing end, since most people do start their home search there. Together with a virtual assistant, they work to ensure online marketing presence, particularly for our Sellers.
David engages with music and sculpture whenever possible and loves to unwind in the Florida Keys
